Social Media/Marketing Internship description
The role will involve:
Developing content for social media and outreach
Managing social media platforms
Capturing video and photo content while attending work parties, events, celebrations, daily activities.
Writing and editing copy
Assisting with newsletters
Graphic Design
Public outreach and tabling events
Cross-team collaboration with other departments to market Lost Valley events, courses, fundraising, and community.
Lost Valley Educational Center is looking for a Social Media / Marketing Intern to join our team this season! We are look for someone with:
Experience managing business social media accounts or a passion to learn
Awareness of current trends in social media and algorithm function.
Photography and videographer skills
A thorough understanding of Lost Valley's mission and vision and ability to clearly communicate them through text and visual storytelling.
Graphic Design skills
Familiarity with Squarespace, Google Adwords, Canva, Flodesk, and Illustrator, and/or desire to learn these platforms.
